Looking for Sr. IoT Software Developer (.NET Platform) who will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications and solutions for IoT devices using the .NET platform. Candidate should have a strong background in IoT software development, extensive experience with the .NET framework, and a passion for creating innovative IoT solutions.

Role: Sr. IoT Software Developer (.NET Platform)

Experience: 5 to 8 Years

Location: Pune ( Hybrid)

Role & Responsibilities of  Sr. IoT Software Developer (.NET Platform)

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and develop IoT software solutions.
• Design and develop high-quality software applications using the .NET platform for IoT devices and systems.
• Implement efficient and scalable IoT architectures and protocols to ensure seamless integration and communication between devices and systems.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging of IoT software applications to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Integrate IoT devices with cloud platforms and other third-party services for data storage, analytics, and visualization.
• Develop and maintain documentation for software designs, coding standards, and technical specifications.
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends in the IoT space, and identify opportunities to incorporate them into our solutions.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers and other stakeholders to ensure proper integration of software and hardware components.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers on IoT software development best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in IoT software development.
• Strong proficiency in developing software applications using the .NET framework (C# or VB.NET).
• Experience with IoT platforms, protocols, and frameworks (e.g., MQTT, CoAP, Azure IoT Hub, AWS IoT Core).
• Proficient in working with IoT devices and sensors (e.g., Raspberry Pi, Arduino, sensors, actuators).
• Solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, HTTP, MQTT).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and services (e.g., Azure, AWS) for IoT data storage, analytics, and visualization.
• Experience with database management systems (SQL and/or NoSQL) for storing and retrieving IoT data.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and debug complex IoT software applications.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet project deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with mobile app development for IoT solutions (iOS, Android).
• Knowledge of security best practices for IoT software development.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Previous experience with Agile/Scrum software development methodologies.
