- We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer specializing in Build and Release processes to join our team. As a Senior Software Engineer in Build and Release, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of software products by implementing and managing robust build, deployment, and release pipelines.
Years of Experience & Educational Qualification
- 5+ years of prior experience.
- Bachelor's/Master’s Degree in Technology.
Required Skills
- 5 years of experience in software development, with a focus on build and release engineering, configuration management
Key Role and Responsibilities
- Manage internal and external build, packaging, and release projects using
- Implement various codes in software programs to integrate with build environment
- Monitor, analyse, document, and solve bugs related to packaging / release
- Research methods for improving software building/ Release process
- Developing internal tools for Packaging and Release
- Automating build processes and packing testing setup
- Implementing appropriate solutions for build and release processes
- Maintained the repository of configuration items of all projects
- Generate regular reports and performance metrics
- Perform testing and quality assurance of software products
- Technical Skills required are Visual Studio, TFS Source Safe, SQL Server, CSharp, MS Build, Cruise Control ( or any Build Tools), IIS
Additional/Preferred Skills
- Design, implement, and maintain automated build and deployment pipelines for software projects, ensuring efficiency, reliability, and scalability. Collaborate with development teams to integrate build and release processes into the continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) framework.
