Network Profile Job Description

• Strong Knowledge on Switching and Routing
• Strong experience with Cisco ASA or Fortinet or Paulo Alto Firewall for implementation and troubleshooting on network Infra.
• Troubleshooting skills with fault isolation and resolution experience with switching Cisco Catalyst and Nexus routing protocols and network design
• Good experience with administering and maintaining Cisco s Identity Service Engine ISE
• Experience with Cisco ISE platform to enforce endpoint compliance in an 802 1x environment for wired and wireless infrastructures and remote access solutions VPN to include device profiling posturing and client provisioning.
• Strong experience with Cisco wireless WLAN and Wireless LAN Controllers WLC
• Strong experience to support Cisco ISE for authentication and authorization.
• Strong experience in F5 LTM load balancer for troubleshooting and operation support
• Configuration Backup & Restore: The functions required to perform backup and restore of network device configurations on a regular basis for network components such as , switches, firewalls, access points.
• Network Administration: planning, installation and Operational tasks that help a network to run smoothly and efficiently.
• DNS Management: The setup and maintenance of domain names, and network addresses.
• Traffic Management: Intelligently manage data traffic, conserve network resources, optimize or guarantee performance, improve latency, and/or increase usable bandwidth for some kinds of packets.
• Remote Access Management: Management and support of devices and software that enable access to a computer or a network from a remote location in a secured way including two factor authentication.
• Carryout routine and ad-hoc network management task including daily health check, backup, anomaly checking, syslog, alert verification.
• Patch/Firmware Management: Acquiring, testing, and installing multiple patches/firmware without any impact to services as per schedule.
• Device Change Management.
• On-Demand Services: Provides few add-on services to support client’s ad-hoc / niche requirements such as design and build support, technology refresh support, support on firewall rule optimization and any other firewall related.
• Proxy Device Management: Manage devices catering to requests from Clients seeking resources from other servers, as well as spam filtering.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), or equivalent.
• Proven experience in network design, implementation, and troubleshooting.
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols, security measures, and best practices.
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools like OP5, Zabbix, SolarWinds etc.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Responsible for system specification and design or similar tasks related to the area of specialization. Consults, supports and guides others.

Provides technical expertise to support the sales organisation and customers in the sales phase.

Keeps well updated on the development of the offered ser vices/products.
