Position Overview:

As a GCP Expert specializing in SaaS software and security, you will be responsible for managing the GCP cloud infrastructure. You will work closely with our existing teams and third-party managed service providers to ensure the seamless transition and ongoing management of our ERP software on GCP. Additionally, you will be instrumental in implementing and maintaining the necessary security measures to safeguard our data and infrastructure. we are seeking a seasoned GCP expert to join our team and manage the GCP cloud while ensuring robust security measures.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage the Google Cloud Platform Infrastructure.
• Assess the existing infrastructure and provide recommendations for optimizing performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, operations, and security, to ensure alignment with business objectives and best practices.
• Define and implement robust security measures, including identity and access management, encryption, network security, and compliance standards.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to internal teams and external service providers on GCP best practices and SaaS deployment methodologies.
• Stay abreast of the latest developments in cloud technology, security trends, and industry regulations to continuously improve our infrastructure and processes.

Core Competencies:

• Extensive experience working with Google Cloud Platform, including proficiency in GCP services such as Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Storage, security measures, BigQuery and others.
• Proven track record of successfully leading large-scale SaaS deployments on GCP or similar cloud platforms.
• Deep understanding of cloud security principles and hands-on experience implementing security controls in a SaaS environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Relevant certifications such as Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect, Professional Cloud Security Engineer, or equivalent.
• Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) is a plus
