Typical day in the job as Head of Engineering-AI /ML
- Strategic Roadmap Development: Establish and execute a comprehensive roadmap to maximize automation of support operations at mid-to-large enterprises globally, leveraging the power of generative AI.
- Technology Leadership: Stay ahead of the curve by being well-versed in every new innovation happening in the world of generative AI. Evaluate and implement relevant technologies within Enjo to translate them into tangible value for customers.
- Architectural Design: Architect and optimize Enjo's tech stack for efficient implementation, focusing on control and cost-effectiveness.
- Evangelism and Thought Leadership: Evangelize the capabilities of Enjo and generative AI to target audiences, including leadership roles responsible for employee and customer support helpdesk operations at enterprises. Regularly participate in webinars, events, and speaking engagements to share insights on the application of generative AI for business use cases.
- Product Innovation: Drive continuous innovation by identifying and addressing customer pain points, incorporating feedback, and leveraging generative AI to enhance Enjo's functionality and user experience.
- Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing AI team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence. Provide mentorship, guidance, and professional development opportunities to team members.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, and customer success, to ensure seamless integration and alignment of Enjo with Troopr's overall product strategy.
- Industry Expertise: Develop deep expertise in the employee and customer support domains, understanding the unique challenges and requirements of mid-to-large enterprises.
- Strategic Partnerships: Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships with industry leaders, research institutions, and technology providers to enhance Enjo's capabilities and expand its reach.
- Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in generative AI, machine learning, and related technologies, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth within the AI team.
Typical Profile of a person who can do this job well:
- Master's degree in Computer Science, AI, or a related field from a top-tier institution.
- Extensive experience in AI/ML, with a proven track record of delivering successful AI-powered products or solutions.
- In-depth knowledge of generative AI models, natural language processing, and related technologies.
- Strong technical leadership skills, with the ability to architect and implement complex AI systems.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proven experience in building and leading high-performing AI teams.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for innovation and a deep understanding of the B2B SaaS landscape.
