What you’ll do

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define performance requirements and objectives.
• Identify performance test environments, infrastructure, and tools required.
• Design and develop performance test scripts and scenarios.
• Configure test environments and infrastructure.
• Execute performance tests, monitor and measure system behaviour under load.
• Identify and document performance bottlenecks, issues, and defects.
• Analyse performance test results to identify trends, patterns, and potential performance issues.
• Prepare comprehensive performance test reports and summaries.
• Collaborate with development teams to diagnose and troubleshoot performance issues.
• Make recommendations for performance improvements and optimizations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, architects, and project managers.
• Clearly communicate performance test objectives, findings, and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Participate in project meetings and provide input on performance-related topics.

Qualifications

Must Have:

• BS/MS in Computer Science or related technical discipline
• 8-12 years hand-on performance testing and analysis of software applications
• Strong knowledge of performance testing methodologies, tools, and best practice
• Strong knowledge of Capacity Planning, peak Load analysis
• Experience using Node.js and REST
• Experience with at least one cloud technology gcp/aws
• Knowledge of agile practices such as Scrum, Kanban
• Solid understanding of web technologies, client-server architecture, and network protocols
• Experience with modern development workflow tools (JIRA, Confluence)
• Familiarity with testing frameworks and test driven development
• Experience with software revision and control systems (GIT preferred)
• Experience with bug tracking systems (JIRA preferred)
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Good to have:

• knowledge of CI/CD process and tools
• Knowledge of agile practices such as Scrum, Kanban
• Working knowledge on Gatling Performance testing tool.
