To achieve our ambitious goals, we're looking for a Staff Product Designer to join our incredible organization. This role will report to the Director of Design. Venkatesh Balasubramaniam is a People-oriented UX design executive building, coaching, managing, and working with best-in-class design teams globally, delivering a wide range of b2b and b2c products and services.

As part of our Product Design team, you collaborate with your designer peers to keep the consistency of the product and ideate about complex projects.

You also work with multiple stakeholders in R&D and other parts of the organisation (such as Customer Success and Growth) to streamline workflows between teams and ideate on how to make the most significant impact on product discovery and delivery

As a Staff Product Designer at Keka, you will

• Work with cross-functional teams (developers, product managers, product researchers, content designers, fellow designers) to drive design vision and strategy that meets the needs of our users.

• Apply strategic thinking to visualize ideas and concepts and communicate them effectively and compellingly to internal stakeholders, partners, and customers.

• Build positive, collaborative relationships with product management, development, marketing, and the broader UX team, as an influential senior design leader of positive change.

• Run design thinking workshops and helping to guide, improve, and implement design and feedback processes.

• Being an active mentor for senior designers and helping lead critique, design reviews, and quarterly planning

• Understand and employ varying user research methodologies to make design decisions and validate your solutions.

• Drive user research and deliver research outcomes to the product teams and the management.

• Familiar with user journey to communicate their needs and expectations through low-fidelity wireframes

• Help shape and grow a user-centered mindset across the product organization.

Essential Skills And Characteristics:

• You have 10+ years of experience in the product design field.

• Expert knowledge of the end-to-end product design process, demonstrating a command of product strategy, distilling the jobs for a given user, journey mapping, wireframing and prototyping, user testing, and high-fidelity visual design.

• The ability to craft beautiful designs and delightful, practical, and usable experiences; you have strengths in visual design, interaction, and product design

• Excellent communication and storytelling skills; you can help your team and stakeholders understand the "why" behind your design rationale.

• Experience planning, conducting, and reporting on user research.

• Experience with design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Axure, or XD.

• Ability to work effectively within a cross-functional and multi-cultural team environment.

• Comfort with working both collaboratively and autonomously in office and remote working environments.

And Ideally:

• Experience designing for HRMS products or B2B/enterprise software.

• Experience designing for Core HR expert users.

• A portfolio that highlights where your design solutions have informed data and content organization (e.g. User Research, Journey map, information-architecture diagrams, data modelling, etc.)
