To achieve our ambitious goals, we're looking for a Lead Product Designer to join our incredible organization. This role will report to the Director of Design. Venkatesh Balasubramaniam is a People-oriented UX design executive building, coaching, managing, and working with best-in-class design teams globally, delivering a wide range of b2b and b2c products and services.   

As part of our Product Design team, you collaborate with your designer peers to keep the consistency of the product and ideate about complex projects.

You also work with multiple stakeholders in R&D and other parts of the organization (such as Customer Success and Growth) to streamline workflows between teams and ideate on how to make the most significant impact on product discovery and delivery.

 As a Lead Product Designer at Keka, you will

• Provide subject matter expert for all design components within our product design (Product blueprints, User journey Maps, Storyboards, IA, Wireframes, Low and High Fidelity Prototypes).

• Present the research, design solutions, and key milestone deliverables to peers and executive-level stakeholders

• Perform competitive analysis, heuristic evaluations

• Facilitate discovery workshops, define and align on customer problems and business opportunities.
• Explore multiple design solutions.

• Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices, and standards.

• Mentor a junior team of like-minded designers.

• Work closely with our Product, Engg team, and other stakeholders to gather and generate actionable insights for feedback into the design process.

• Work effectively with cross-functional teams to optimize product offerings.

Requirements:

• 6+ years of hands-on experience as a UXD/Product Designer (Worked across complex Saas applications and native apps in both web and mobile

• Strong experience in UXD / UCD methodologies.

• Strong experience generating user research insights to feed the design process.

• Experience with design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Axure, or XD.

• Outstanding conceptual design skills.

• Strong commitment to customer experience and service with a positive attitude.

• Strong communication skills.

And Ideally:

• Experience designing for IoT products or B2B/enterprise software

• Experience designing for expert users

• A portfolio that highlights where your design solutions have informed data and content organization (e.g. User Research, Journey map, information-architecture diagrams, data modeling, etc.)

• Knowledgeable and have a deep understanding of user-centered design processes, including Design Thinking, personas, task analysis, task flows, problem framing, interaction design, and content strategy
