Senior Product Designers

Location :HYDERABAD

Keka has continuously fulfilled its UX promise in a world where HR systems promote a fantastic employee experience and offer a bad user experience. We are the premier HR platform, and our distinguishing feature is Design. We are expanding our design team and hence looking for a Product Designer and a Senior Product Designer. The roles and responsibilities continue to be identical in every other job description, but we are quite precise about the attributes we are looking for. We put the thoughts underneath.

A Curious Mind

In this world, nothing is boring for a curious mind. A table, a clip of paper, a car, a rock, a bird, or a simple wall. Animated or inanimate everything is so deep to them if you can explore your interested mind. Such inquiring minds benefit much from design.

Understanding Problems to solve

An ordinary designer begins to develop a solution without a whole problem context. An excellent designer first and last of all is full of questions. They last until the problem is addressed and thus wonderful designs can be created.

Wow Design

There are three responses to a piece of design - yes, no, and WOW! Wow is the one to aim for (courtesy: Milton Glaser). Good designers are careful about little aspects and the design is not too small or inconsequential. And they pursue perfection relentlessly. Every morning they wake up to reflect on their work and figure out how they may have improved!

Typography

Typography is the most understated aspect of today's product designer generation, yet it is difficult to say that 90% of UX designs include textual information. The designer knows how wonderful the experience is combined with colors, contrasts, sizes, spacing, and text decorations. This is already addressed by the design system at Keka. But then there's never perfection!

English

Every UX screen we create today is 90% information. A good design, therefore, whispers, talks, and hollers at the user's remotes just like a human and sets the tone of an application. The quality of design is determined by your ability to select the proper choice of verb and adjective. While we come from a different mother tongue, unfortunately for you and me, the business language we use is English and we expect you to be good there. Our Product Managers are here to help, but we expect that you can think and reason in English.

Strongly Analytical Skills

Contrary to the myth that Design is for right-brain creatives, UX Design requires strong analytical skills - the left-brain thing!

Empathy and Intuition

I guess this is given and we don't have to explicitly call it out! Empathy, Intuition, and great Design can't live without each other. You get it :)

Design and UX Architecture

The ability to understand and create UX architecture, information architecture, and build design systems for large systems (with thousands of UI interactions) is a must.

Requirements

• 4+ years experience of having worked in Product Design

• Understanding and experience working with Design systems are good to have

• Experience in B2B/SaaS Designs is good to have
