Job Title: Principal Technical Support Consultant

Location: Remote (Delhi)

Job Purpose

As a Server Senior Support Specialist, you will be part of an agile team focusing on the installation, support and maintenance of our Server side components. You will have significant responsibilities for working alongside key internal and external stakeholders in the safe delivery and maintenance of our server side products. This specific role is based out of New Delhi at our customer site.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Working as part of our Development teams with the common goal of delivering the customer a top quality product.
  • Working with our Customer Site and act as a bridge between AVEVA and the Customer and their stake holders
  • Being a key asset deploying, maintaining and supporting server side components in the field.
  • Having the confidence to challenge the norm, push boundaries and drive change.
  • Collaborating with members of your immediate team with the goal of further educating ourselves, stakeholders and customers on how to deliver and maintain our products in the most efficient manner.

Knowledge, Skills And Experience Required

Essential:

  • Good knowledge and understanding of interactions between common Windows services
  • Good understanding of security boundaries of an app when deployed in a remote environment
  • Working knowledge of the configuration of SQL server and associated access principles
  • Demonstrated ability of basic Windows server troubleshooting
  • Experience with Windows Shell
  • Experience with PowerShell
  • Good understanding of networking protocols
  • Good communicator
