About The Job
The Senior Business Analyst will have an opportunity to be part of the growing product development team that owns the responsibility to gather requirements, validate functionalities & proper communication between respective departments/leaders.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate up-to-date expertise in Information Systems and apply this to the development, execution and improvement of action plans by providing advice and guidance to others in the application of information and best practices.
As Senior Business Analyst, You Will…
- Gather requirements and prepare requirements specification document(s) and validate the functionalities
- Maintain, test and improve business and systems operations
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
- Identify and capitalize on improvement opportunities
- Identify innovative ways to increase customer satisfaction
- Evaluate the performance of project teams to ensure that targets and deadlines are met
- Communicate ideas and viewpoints to senior management
- Act as a liaison between business and IT groups
- Create monthly performance reports
- Support and align efforts to meet customer and business needs
- Manage customer relationships and expectations by developing a communication process to keep others up-to-date on project results
- Stay current with customer needs and strategies
- Utilize formal and informal written communication methods (for example, emails, newsletters, PowerPoint presentations, executive updates, task lists, updates) to communicate updates and findings
- Lead or participate in multiple projects by completing and updating project documentation
- Manage project scope and ensure efficient and on-time delivery of project tasks and milestones
- Identify, create and facilitate process design changes by conducting business and systems process analysis and design at a complex level
- Partner with internal and external customers to ensure systems provided meet the long-term business strategies
- Provide and support the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders
- Provide project level analysis – produce required project analysis documentation (business requirements, scope matrix, use cases, sequence diagrams, future state proposals, UAT plan)
- Collaborate closely with developers to implement the requirements, provide necessary guidance to testers during QA process
- Determine the business and system requirements and document them clearly
- Assess business process and system inefficiencies
- Identify ways to increase adoption and customer satisfaction
- Assist with and test implementation for all payer and vendor relationships to ensure data transfer collection, quality and reporting relationships are working appropriately down to the market level
- Create and maintain issue logs, meeting minutes, meeting schedules, project summaries and updates
- Meet with project team regularly to review project deliverables and deadlines
- Develop and execute test plans
- Support system conversions, upgrades, enhancements
As Senior Business Analyst, You Have…
- A graduate in business, accounting, IT or any related field, with a minimum 5 years experience
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst
- Proven training in Business Process Modeling
- Knowledge of Microsoft Visio and Access is advantageous
- Understanding of Indices, fundamentals and analytical data, returns level data etc.
- The ability to write functional spec document is an added advantageGoogle Sheets
- The ability to facilitate project meetings and presentations to all types of diverse audiences (for example, senior management, customers, technical staff)
- The ability to articulate ideas and viewpoints to senior management, peers and others
- Adaptable to competing demands, organizational changes and new responsibilities
- Demonstrated fluency in business processes and process differentiation
- The ability to analyze and synthesize business requirements, including recognizing patterns and conceptualizing processes
- Understand and negotiate needs and expectations of multiple stakeholders
- Advanced knowledge with technology, specifically with MS Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint/Google Slides
- The ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Effective communication, technical understanding, teamwork and leadership skills
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
