What you'll do

DocuSign is looking for a Senior Front-End Engineer to join our Insight team. This person will need to seamlessly slot into agile teams and work closely with all facets of the organization (product, back-end development, UX, and Design) to achieve high quality results.

This position is an individual contributor role, reporting to the Senior Director Engineering.

Responsibility

• Architect and design front-end components for DocuSign Insight team
• Drive strategic code sharing and architecture for one or more functional areas
• Share and drive best practices for performance and availability for one or more functional area
• Ensure design and architecture is extensible across multiple projects and conduct technical-design reviews
• Contribute to and drive a culture of building scalable and highly available systems
• Work with Project Management and other developers to understand design requirements and provide estimates for development
• Work as part of a hardworking, agile development team to deliver engaging user experiences
• Collaborate with our platform engineering teams to implement new features and to bring existing platform features into web platform
• Demonstrate a strong focus on instrumenting features being developed to gain insights into usage patterns and feature success
• Identify, build, and manage test cases and devise efficient, scalable testing processes
• Work optimally with product management and design to build features that satisfy user needs with simplicity, consistency, and adaptability
• Identify, propose, and implement process improvements to continuously increase the team's productivity and efficiency
• Stay up to date with the latest development best practices and share your findings with the team
• Work as part of a cross-site development team to drive the design, implementation, testing, and release of products

Job Designation

Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation)

What you bring

Basic

• 8+ years development experience
• BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience
• Experience working with TypeScript and the React framework
• Experience building reusable front-end components
• Experience with front-end testing libraries
• Experience delivering a SaaS product

Preferred

• Experience with full stack development in one or more of OO programming languages like C# or Java or Go is desirable
• Experience working with cross-browser behaviors and quirks
• Experience building reusable web components ideally within a Micro Frontend Framework
• Passion for UI
• Good sense of usability and design
• Experience working with remote teams
