Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Automation Tester with expertise in Selenium, Java, and API testing to join our team in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing, with a focus on automation, and be able to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver, Java, and other relevant tools.

2. Design, implement, and execute test plans and test cases for web applications and APIs.

3. Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other team members to identify and report defects, and ensure their resolution.

4. Analyze test results and generate detailed reports to communicate test coverage and results to stakeholders.

5. Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies, staying up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging technologies.

6. Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve the quality of the test scripts and overall codebase.

7. Mentor junior team members and share knowledge of testing techniques and tools.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

2. 4-6 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on automation.

3. Strong proficiency in Java programming and Selenium WebDriver.

4. Experience with API testing and tools such as Postman or SoapUI.

5. Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Bamboo, or TeamCity.

6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and troubleshoot issues.

7. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a team environment.

8. Experience working with Agile methodologies and Scrum.

9. A willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools.
