The RealPage Unified Platform team provides the foundation which connects RealPage products together to provide a seamless user experience for our customers, by delivering on the RealPage Promise and Unity strategy to eliminate redundant data, development, and business processes across RealPage products so that our customers will perceive our product offering as a true integrated platform instead of a collection of separate applications.  The RealPage platform consists of several different applications that provide an overall platform experience we want to deliver to our customers.  This position will focus on customer-facing features of the platform.

As a BUSINESS ANALYST III, you will partner with product, design, and technology leads to provide cross-discipline support to a focused product team; the team will also include engineers, QA, and analysts, with support from other product teams that interact with the platform.  This position will report to the Product Manager on the Unified Platform team.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Gather requirements from subject matter experts.
  • Build strategic partnerships/relationships via excellent client relationship management skills, business analysis and technical writing skills.
  • Assist in problem and issue resolution with product managers and development teams and report progress on initiatives in a summarized written format.
  • Create project related documents including system requirements.
  • Work with the cross functional teams in helping them create quality design documents and in developing quality Products within the scheduled timeline.
  • Lead tasks and business process analysis sessions.
  • Organize, participate, and conduct application walk-throughs, and other internal/external presentations.
  • Identify & contribute to process improvement activities.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with customers and internal staff.
  • Provide input to software roadmap by participating in client discussions to determine top priority features.
  • Support operational systems/applications used by RealPage internal community.
  • Assist and analyze operational reports used by management.

Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

  • 3+ years of hands-on professional experience as a business analyst, quality analyst, or other analytical focused customer facing role.
  • Technical experience includes various phases of SDLC e.g. requirement analysis; design and testing.
  • Exposure to various development methodologies including Agile procedures.
  • In depth experience in acting as a liaison among lines of business by managing relationships.
  • Must be able to produce high-quality work as part of a fast-paced, dynamic team.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with proven technical writing abilities.
  • Strong team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to participate in backlog grooming and sizing, sprint planning, and daily Scrums.
  • Experience with SaaS, or complex enterprise applications.
  • An understanding of the U.S. Rental Real Estate industry, ability to write SQL queries database, and ability to read and diagnose API payloads are desirable.
