Data Engineer (Data Analytics Engineer)

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Data Science, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field.
• 7+ years of industry-related experience in a data engineering, BI analyst, or Analytics engineer role.
• Should have strong SQL and Python development and with hands-on experience in ETL Development and building Star Schema/Snowflake Schema's in Data Warehouse.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases.
• Strong programming skills in Python, including experience with data libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy).
• Experience with ETL tools like Workato, FiveTran, Matillion, Informatica and understanding of data integration challenges.
• Experience with Data warehouse Technologies like Snowflake, Redshift, Big query.
• Experience with Database tool like DBT, SQLMesh
• Proficiency in business intelligence tools like Sigma, Looker, Tableau or Power BI.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic, collaborative team environment.
• Familiarity with data warehouse technologies and concepts.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure).
• Knowledge of automation platforms like Workato.
• Experience with real-time analytics and data streaming technologies (Kafka, StreamSets).
