  • Professionals hailing from the worlds best universities, business schools, and engineering institutes including Harvard, Yale, Carnegie Mellon, Duke, Georgia Tech, Indian Institute of Management (IIM), and Indian Institute of Technology (IIT).

To effectively lead DevOps initiatives in the B2B SaaS sector within the US healthcare industry. We need strong expertise in Devops with 8+years of experience.

  1. Understand Healthcare Compliance: Prioritize understanding the regulatory landscape, especially HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) regulations, as they heavily govern data handling and security within the US healthcare industry.
  2. Assessment and Planning: Conduct a thorough assessment of the current infrastructure, development processes, and deployment pipelines. Identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
  3. Implement Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Establish robust CI/CD pipelines to automate the build, test, and deployment processes. Ensure that these pipelines adhere to compliance requirements, especially regarding data privacy and security.
  4. Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Utilize tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation to manage infrastructure as code. This approach ensures consistency, scalability, and easier management of infrastructure components.
  5. Containerization and Orchestration: Implement Docker for containerization and Kubernetes for orchestration. Containerization enables consistent deployment across different environments, while Kubernetes automates deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications.
  6. Monitoring and Logging: Set up comprehensive monitoring and logging solutions to track system performance, detect issues proactively, and ensure compliance with service-level agreements (SLAs) and regulatory requirements.
  7. Security Automation: Implement automated security testing throughout the development lifecycle. Utilize tools like OWASP ZAP for security scanning and integrate security checks into the CI/CD pipeline.
  8. Collaboration and Communication: Foster a culture of collaboration between development, operations, and security teams. Utilize collaboration tools like Slack, Jira, or Microsoft Teams to facilitate communication and streamline workflows.
  9. Training and Skill Development: Invest in training and skill development programs to ensure that team members stay updated with the latest technologies and best practices in DevOps and healthcare compliance.
  10. Compliance and Risk Management: Regularly conduct compliance audits and risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements. Implement policies and procedures to mitigate risks effectively.
  11. Vendor Management: If using third-party services or APIs, ensure that vendors comply with healthcare regulations and have robust security measures in place. Regularly assess vendor performance and security practices.
  12. Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Planning: Develop and test disaster recovery and business continuity plans to ensure minimal disruption in case of system failures or security breaches.
  13. Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor system performance and optimize infrastructure and application components for efficiency and scalability.
  14. Feedback and Iteration: Encourage feedback from stakeholders, including customers and internal teams, and use it to iterate and improve DevOps processes continuously.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's or master's degree with highly qualified multidisciplinary, incredibly talented professionals from highly renowned and accredited medical schools, business schools, and engineering institutes.
  2. 8+ years of proven experience as a DevOps Engineer with a focus on AWS.
  3. Expertise in AWS services, including but not limited to EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and others.
  4. In-depth knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, AWS Code Pipeline), containerization (Docker), and orchestration (AWS ECS, Kubernetes).
  5. Strong scripting skills (e.g., Python, Bash) and experience with Infrastructure as Code.
  6. Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor team members.
  7. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  8. AWS certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or AWS Certified Solutions Architect are a plus.
