We're looking for a Frontend Developer to join our team in India. The role provides a unique and challenging opportunity to work on various products within Kula helping recruiters move faster and be more productive while hiring high quality candidates.

Kula is an all-in-one recruitment automation platform that automates entire hiring process for recruiters so they can move faster with hiring the right candidates. Think, co-pilot for recruiters. We have seen first-hand how using Kula increases the recruiter yield by at least 50% and helps build a predictable pipeline and deliver a great experience to candidates.

How You'll Be Contributing To Our Engineering Team

Build Kula with us and take it to the next stage of scale. You will be building a platform that can stand the test of scale without compromising on user experience.

What does it take?

• You have 2 to 5 years of Frontend engineering experience preferably in a startup environment where you have shipped high quality products to users
• You have a passion for building products that delights customers and approach your work with a strong product mindset and you don't expect everything to be spelled out in user stories and design files
• You make data driven decisions and have a strong sense of ownership on your deliverables and love making stepwise changes to improve the product over a period of time even after launching. Especially after launching and don't expect Product team to tell you how the experience should be improved
• You have great communication skills and can articulate complex, technical concepts to non-technical audience
• You love working autonomously and open to feedback
• You believe in and follow best coding practices, code reviews and open feedback
• You love building products that are security-first
• You have a strong experience with Javascript
• You have a strong experience with ReactJS and Redux
• You have a solid understanding of CSS and familiar with the best practices around creating highly modular/lean CSS, able to create advanced grid-based web layouts, and have a good knowledge of animations, transforms, and other visual touches
• You enjoy writing testable code

Some extra skills that would be great

• You have experience building WYSIWYG headless editors using TipTap or similar
• You have experience building browser extensions
• You have experience working with page builder libraries
• You have experience working with NextJS
• You have experience building tooling and platforms that enable better front-end development workflows, allows the team to develop faster and release faster and create linters that defines best practices for all frontend engineers.
