Hey! We're Klarety.
We’re a small team of engineers and GIS users building the mapping platform of the future. We're looking for a full stack (front end heavy) developer to join us.
We are remote-friendly and like working with talent around the world. We love working with independent thinkers who thrive in environments with maximum technical freedom, where we can trust each other to move quickly. Everybody on the team works hard. We expect everyone to be excellent at their job and be committed to making an incredible product.
What we're building 🚀
We're harnessing the power of geospatial data, satellite imagery, and LLMs to address a specific user need: helping users see how the world is changing. Our goal is for Klarety to present meaningful data and insight while feeling as intuitive as using a map.
Our long-term vision extends beyond maps: we aim to create a comprehensive geospatial platform that integrates seamlessly with various data sources. Imagine a tool as powerful as VS Code with Copilot, but for all things geospatial.
What we’re looking for 👨🔬
This is a full-stack role that will come with a lot of responsibility very quickly. You will be part of every major technical decision.
You should choose this role if the following describes you:
Some technical notes 🛠️
Some of the tools we're building with: Next.js, React, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, Shadcn UI, Redux, Prisma, React, Zod, Fastify, and Python.
If you have experience with Kepler.gl, Deck.gl, or Mapbox, we want to talk!
We don't expect you to have experience with every framework, but you should be able to quickly learn our stack.
What we’re not looking for 🙈
We prefer an engineer who has opinions and is constantly interested in new technologies and improving their skills.
This means that if you still work using the MERN stack in 2024 and you haven’t heard about:
you’re probably not the right engineer for us. 🚩
No hard feelings! We just really need an engineer who keeps up with trends given the fast pace of the industry
