The Mobile Automation Tester is responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to validate the functionality, usability, and performance of mobile applications across various devices and platforms. The primary goal is to ensure that the mobile applications meet the defined quality standards and provide an optimal user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with development teams to understand project requirements, goals, and objectives.

2. Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Appium, Espresso, XCTest, or Robotium.

3. Design and implement test plans and test cases to cover functional, performance, and usability testing.

4. Execute automated tests on various mobile devices, operating systems, and browsers to identify defects and ensure application stability.

5. Analyze test results, generate test reports, and communicate findings to the development team.

6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and improve testing methodologies and processes.

7. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in mobile automation testing and continuously improve testing strategies.

8. Troubleshoot and resolve defects, working closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.

9. Mentor junior team members and share knowledge on mobile automation testing techniques and tools.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

2. 2+ years of experience in mobile automation testing, preferably with experience in both Android and iOS platforms.

3. Strong knowledge of mobile automation testing tools such as Appium, Espresso, XCTest, or Robotium.

4. Proficient in programming languages such as Java, Python, or Swift.

5. Familiarity with mobile application development frameworks and platforms.

6. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to identify and troubleshoot complex issues.

7. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

8. Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.

9. Certification in mobile automation testing or related fields is a plus.
