About the Role
As an Off-Page SEO Manager at Passionfruit, you will manage our Off-Page Leads in building high-quality backlinks, managing digital PR initiatives, and developing relationships with influencers and webmasters. You will work closely with our cross-functional (On-page, technical, and content SEO) teams to ensure all off-page strategies align with our clients' business goals and complement our AI-enabled SEO solutions.
Responsibilities
Link Building
- Develop and execute strategies to acquire high-quality backlinks through ethical practices including guest blogging and influencer partnerships
- Conduct targeted outreach to secure strategic link placements and build lasting relationships with webmasters and content creators
- Monitor backlink profiles using industry tools to ensure quality, relevance, and performance
Content Promotion
- Collaborate with content teams to create linkable assets and develop distribution strategies
- Promote content through social media channels and industry influencer partnerships to maximize visibility and drive qualified traffic
Brand Mentions
- Track online brand mentions and engage with users to foster positive relationships
- Build partnerships with other websites to increase brand visibility and convert unlinked mentions into valuable backlinks
Online Reputation Management
- Monitor and manage client reputation across Reddit, Quora, Instagram, Facebook, and Google Reviews
- Identify and flag content that violates platform policies, engaging with moderators and administrators when necessary
- Implement reverse SEO strategies to minimize the visibility of negative content in search results
- Create and optimize high-authority positive content to outrank negative mentions
- Develop strategic responses to negative reviews that protect brand reputation while addressing legitimate concerns
Local SEO
- Optimize clients' presence on local directories and review sites while ensuring consistent NAP information
- Implement location-specific strategies, build citations, and acquire reviews to strengthen local search presence
Competitor Analysis
- Analyze competitors' backlink profiles and strategies to identify opportunities and develop more effective tactics
- Monitor competitors' online presence to benchmark performance and identify content gaps
Analytics and Reporting
- Measure campaign effectiveness using advanced analytics tools to track referral traffic, domain authority, and backlink quality
- Create insightful reports on performance and impact on organic rankings for stakeholders
Staying Updated
- Monitor industry trends, algorithm updates, and best practices in off-page optimization
- Participate in professional communities and stay informed about regional search variations across target markets.
Required Qualifications
- Fluent in the English language and the ability to communicate effectively.
- Able to communicate both verbally and in writing regarding SEO, marketing strategies, and tactical recommendations.
- 3+ years of experience working in an OSEO or Digital Marketing role.
- Familiarity with SEO tools, such as Google Analytics, Semrush, Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, etc.
- Ability to identify high-quality backlink opportunities and relevant content.
- Proficiency in using analytics tools to assess performance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Marketing, Communications or Computer Science/IT (or years of experience in commensurate).
- Agency experience is also preferred to manage the multiple priorities of a variety of clients
Work Culture
- This role is hybrid, with an in-person portion based out of New Delhi, Saket.
