Provide comprehensive administration and support for Oracle EBS 12.1.x, 12.2.x and Oracle Databases 11g, 12c, 19c, including OBIA support.
Perform database server installations, Oracle Apps, and Middleware technology products installations, and management.
Conduct schema updates, data migrations, technical upgrades, patching, user maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Ensure effective performance tuning, table space management, and general database health.
Work closely with application teams to implement and manage Oracle E-Business and OBIA performance enhancements.
Handle cloning, backup, and restoration procedures to safeguard database integrity.
Monitor systems using Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) and address any issues proactively.
Employ Change Management protocols for code deployment in Production and non-Production environments.
Maintain core database processes like archiving, monitoring, and security.
Provide on-call support as part of a 24*7 team rotation.
Collaborate with application teams, developers, and other IT personnel to ensure responsive support and seamless operations.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Extensive experience as an Oracle Apps DBA.
Deep knowledge of Oracle Apps and Database administration, including patching, managing concurrent managers, user responsibilities, code promotion, and index rebuilding.
Experience with Oracle GRC.
Expertise in database performance tuning and troubleshooting.
Familiarity with Unix operating systems, specifically Solaris and AIX.
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, ksh, perl, etc.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work autonomously and in a team environment across multiple geographies and time zones.
