GreyOrange is looking for a hands-on Product Manager who has exhibited exceptional and measurable product outcomes in domains related, but not limited, to supply chain, warehouse automation, warehouse management system and operations management. Domains outside of these will also be considered but preference will be for the afore-mentioned domains.
We are looking for someone who is an excellent blend of analytical, mathematical, technical and product management skills. Anyone who has demonstrated these through a blended experience as a developer or architect of software algorithms and as a product manager owning product vision and KPIs would be considered an excellent fit. Technical skills involving familiarity or expertise into algorithms will be considered a great add-on. Product Management skills being sought for this role involve ability to drive product roadmap based on product gaps (functional and performance) identified through product usage data by oneself, customer feedback and industry research.
A day in the life of product manager in this role will be analysing a lot of operational data and metrics and connecting with customers/users to identify opportunities of improvement which can range from deep algorithmic improvements to high precision process flows improvements to user interface improvements. The product manager will also be responsible for prioritising the identified areas of product enhancements for agile development teams and measuring the outcome of delivered capabilities.
The product manager in this role should be willing to work as an individual contributor while owning a functional area within GreyMatterTM. This role will require product manager to identify product improvements, document those in the form of epics in JIRA and work with agile teams to get these prioritise. The person is expected to have understood the importance of oral and written communication and hence is expected to produce articulate write up of requirements. The person is also expected to guide the UX team to deliver excellent experience for the identified features.
