Overview

The Developer Services and Experiences (DevX) team at Intuit builds foundational capabilities that developers across Intuit use for building and running Intuit’s flagship applications in a cloudnative, highly scalable, and secure manner. Ease of use, high scale, quality, and reliability are some of the key attributes of this organization’s platforms.As a Product Designer, you will be responsible for designing and developing new products and improving existing products based on consumer needs, market trends, and technological advancements. With a focus on interaction design, you will have the opportunity to solve business-critical problems to enable developers and designers across Intuit to create services and experiences. Specifically, you’ll be working on Intuit’s Development Portal to provide seamless, easy-to-use experiences for our development community to increase developer productivity and release velocity.Being an integral part of the product development team, you will collaborate closely with other designers, engineers, and product managers to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality products that meet customer expectations.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in interaction design, product design, service design, or related field
  • Bachelor’s degree in Product Design, Human-Computer Interaction Design, or other relevant fields; Master’s preferred
  • Deep knowledge of design principles and methods
  • Mastery of design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite
  • Experience working with dashboards and monitoring tools is a plus but not required
  • Familiarity with market research, trend analysis, and user testing.
  • A dazzling portfolio demonstrating your strong craft and collaborative process

Responsibilities:

  • Solve customer problems by synthesizing behavioral information and imagining things as they might be, not as they are
  • Deliver detailed design specs and ideal state prototypes for testing concepts andusability
  • Conceptualize a broad spectrum of ideas and then narrow based on experimentation and user research
  • Push and evolve reusable patterns to improve the speed of innovation and to create a cohesive user experience
  • Collaborate effectively with other designers, product managers, and engineering staff
  • Solicit feedback and contribute constructively to design reviews
  • Advance a strong point of view, backed up by personal expertise, design rationale, user research data, and industry trends
  • Work on projects using strong communication skills to manage time and expectations appropriately
