About the Role
As a Product Manager at Planful, you will be responsible for driving the strategy, development, and success of our marketing analytics and optimization solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams around the globe including engineering, design, marketing, and sales to define the product vision, prioritize features, and deliver innovative solutions that empower marketers to measure, analyze, and improve their campaign performance. Responsibilities
- Define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap, aligned with company goals and market opportunities.
- Conduct market research, customer interviews, and competitive analysis to identify market needs, trends, and opportunities for differentiation.
- Prioritize feature development and enhancements based on customer feedback, market analysis, and business objectives.
- Work closely with engineering, design, and other cross-functional teams to translate product requirements into user stories, specifications, and design concepts.
- Lead the product development process, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and sprint review sessions.
- Collaborate with marketing, sales, and customer success teams to develop go-to-market strategies, product messaging, and sales enablement materials.
- Monitor product performance, metrics, and KPIs, and iterate on product features and enhancements based on user feedback and data insights.
- Evangelize the product internally and externally, including participation in industry events, webinars, and customer advisory boards.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in marketing technology, contributing to the technical growth and advancement of the team.
What You Bring to the Table
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience (4+ years) in product management roles, with a focus on marketing technology, analytics, or SaaS products. Preference for experience having implemented enterprise software, ideally in Finance.
- Strong understanding of marketing principles, digital advertising ecosystems, and performance measurement metrics.
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform product strategy.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, prioritize initiatives, and drive product development from concept to launch.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively communicate product vision, requirements, and priorities to stakeholders.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and product management tools such as JIRA or Asana.
- Familiarity with data analytics, business intelligence tools, and visualization platforms is a plus.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for innovation, creativity, and solving customer problems.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing market conditions.
- Experience with cloud software delivery, and specifically the practice of Agile development methodologies.
- Graduate or Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Intelligence or related field.
- Experience interacting with U.S.-based customers.
