DXFactor is looking for a highly skilled QA Engineer who is comfortable with testing applications across many platforms. He will be responsible for testing REST APIs, single-page web applications, native applications (iOS & Android), and OTT applications (AppleTV, Roku, etc) and working closely with our engineering team to resolve issues. The ideal candidate is just as good at identifying must-fix issues as they are deprioritizing edge cases and low impact issues. The successful candidate will be a key contributor in developing our next generation platform architecture and design supporting video-on- demand streaming video applications across all manner of OTT and mobile devices. As Intelivideo is a small and collaborative start-up, the successful candidate will need to be a great communicator – with colleagues, customers, and users. This person shall be able to articulate technology trade-offs and inform product roadmap decisions. You will have an immediate impact on our success with your terrific software skills and you will fire product delivery velocity and quality!

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, test, and ship new features
• Establish and improve test processes
• Contribute experience and knowledge during team discussions
• Collaborate with other engineers as needed
• Work to develop regression test suites and scripting to improve test processes on multiple platforms

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent work experience
• 3+ years of QA for cross-platform applications
• Strong grasp of testing fundamentals and automation experience
• Self-starting and can work with limited direction
• Ability to collaborate and work well with others
• The ability to deliver high quality and effective solutions while balancing deadlines
• Bonus: Experience testing streaming video
