Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Manual QA Engineer to join our dynamic team.

The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, exceptional problem-solving skills, and a passion for ensuring high-quality software products to provide best-in class user experience for our customer.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual testing of web applications/products to identify and document software defects.
• Develop, maintain, and execute detailed test cases and test plans based on requirements and design documents.
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and technical specifications.
• Conduct functional, regression, integration, and usability testing.
• Track and manage defects using bug tracking tools and work closely with developers for timely resolution.
• Ensure that software meets the established standards of quality including reliability, usability, and performance.
• Participate in design and requirement reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, or potential problems.
• Perform API testing and validate database operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven 3+ years of experience as a Manual QA Engineer or similar role.
• Familiarity with agile frameworks and regression testing.
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
• Proficiency in bug tracking and test management tools (e., JIRA, TestRail).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Knowledge of automation testing tools and basic scripting skills.
• Strong knowledge of API testing methodologies and tools (e., Postman, SoapUI).
• Experience with database testing and SQL queries.
• Familiarity with performance and security testing would be a plus.
