Zenskar is building a new-age billing and pricing infrastructure for SaaS companies. As SaaS pricing evolves from vanilla subscription-based models to more granular usage-based models, billing and pricing infrastructure needs to be completely reimagined.
Zenskar is founded by Apurv Bansal & Saurabh Agrawal, who sold their previous startups to Snapdeal and Gaana respectively. They have experience at organizations such as Google, Basepair, Elevation Capital, IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, and Harvard Business School. We are funded by marquee global investors, including Bessemer Venture Partners.
We are building our founding team, and are looking for folks who can optimize for quick iteration, and fast deployment and have a great developer experience. Ideally, you are excited about learning and meaningfully shaping the trajectory of an early-stage startup from Day 0 in its journey.

On the backend side, we are building high throughput, high-scale data pipes to deal with the usage data of companies of any size.
On the front-end side, we are building low-code interfaces for various parts of the billing stack to let companies design the best tools for themselves.
You will have to think about all the people and systems that interact with the finance stack of a company, modularize the different parts of the stack well and build the correct abstractions. This includes systems like the CPQ (Configure-Price-Quote) that Salespeople interact with, the metering system that Developers manage, and the Billing, Payments, and Accounting systems that Finance manages.

We are looking for a Senior Content Marketer who can lead our content efforts, from building and leading a team of writers to writing/editing different forms of content. We would expect you to own the complete organic content output as you grow and head the content vertical for Zenskar
You will be responsible for developing engaging, high-quality, and SEO-friendly content. Your primary focus will be on creating content that attracts and engages our target audience, drives organic traffic, and promotes brand awareness.
You will be working closely with the founders, marketing, and product teams to ensure that the content you produce stays relevant, user-friendly, and SEO-friendly at all times.

Responsibilities
Develop a deep understanding of the user, their pain points, stage of the journey and intent.
Build and lead a team of full-time, part-time/freelance or intern writers to deliver the highest quality and quantity of content to meet our organic channel goals.
Own the overall organic content output for Zenskar, including but not limited to
Long-form SEO and value-driven blog posts that resonate with our target audience, providing insightful and actionable content.
E-Books that provide valuable insights and solutions to our audience.
Whitepapers that delve into industry trends, challenges, and innovative solutions.
Newsletters that engage the audience with regular updates, insights, and curated content that aligns with their interests and needs.
Reports that convey data-driven insights and recommendations.
Scripts for videos that delve into industry trends, challenges, and innovative solutions.
Social media copies that follow best practices for promoting different forms of content.
Work closely with SEO experts to set up the process for creating high-quality SEO-optimized content.
Conduct primary research to gather data, insights, and information that contribute to the creation of high-quality, original content.
Incorporating best SEO practices and keyword research inputs in the content.
Find channels to promote the different forms of content.
Ensure all-around consistency concerning the style, fonts, images and tone.
Research competitors and industry trends to come up with content pegs that communicate our USPs and strengths to the correct TG.
Set up personal processes to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the writing process: Strive to get to the published stage with minimal reviews.
Publish high-quality, compelling content within established timelines to achieve outcomes.
Work towards minimizing the time for research by curating high-quality sources for research.
Key Qualifications
Minimum 5+ years of experience in a B2B SaaS company.
Excellent writing and editing skills, with a strong attention to detail.
Ability to build, manage, and motivate a team of writers/freelancers/interns.
Portfolio with work samples showcasing your writing skills across different forms of content.
Tech-savvy with the ability to do deep research and simply explain complex technical matters without using jargon.
Excellent command of the English language (grammar and vocabulary) and a passion for crafting compelling and creative content.
Comfort in using tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, Buzz Sumo, Webflow, Uber Suggest, and ChatGPT, among others.
Motivated self-starter who likes a fast-paced work environment with multiple active projects.
Grit and curiosity to learn new topics in great depth.
Self-driven individual with high ownership and a strong work ethic.
Previous entrepreneurial experience is a huge plus.
Experience catering to CFO persona is a plus.
Familiarity with billing systems, CPQ and accounting systems is a plus.
