Our growing web team is looking for a talented web developer to help us create top-notch, industry-leading websites for our marketing department.
As an integral part of our multi-disciplinary team, you will work on developing a suite of websites using WordPress and Drupal. Your main duties will involve integrating various components such as Martech tools, APIs, and analytics. Additionally, you will occasionally handle tasks like building page layouts with HTML, styling with SASS, and adding functionality with JavaScript and jQuery.
In this role, you will be responsible for Martech, API, and analytics integrations, collaborating closely with both frontend and backend developers. This initial phase will set the groundwork for the project’s implementation and eventual launch.

In This Role, You Will:
- Create user-friendly, responsive web pages using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Convert design mockups and wireframes into clean, maintainable code
- Work with developers to ensure seamless integration of APIs, Martech, Analytics (web tracking), and backend components
- Optimize web pages for maximum speed and scalability
- Implement and maintain frontend frameworks and libraries
- Conduct cross-browser and cross-device compatibility testing
- Identify and debug issues
- Stay updated with the latest web development trends and technologies
- Ensure code quality through reviews and adherence to coding standards
- Collaborate with the UX/UI team to enhance user experience on Cvent website
- Implement accessibility best practices on Cvent websites
- Brainstorm and communicate ideas clearly to the team
- Work in an agile environment, iterating quickly
- Enjoy working in a collaborative environment with team-wide communication (e.g., daily standups, Slack discussions, code reviews) and occasional pair programming sessions
Here's What You Need:
- A computer graduate degree, preferably a B.Tech
- 3-4 years of experience working in the similar domain
- Solid knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, SASS/LESS, Bootstrap
- Expert in APIs, JavaScript and jQuery
- Proficiency in Gulp, Grunt/Webpack pre-processors and their integration setup
- Familiarity with Content Management Systems, preferably Drupal
- Strong experience with responsive design, including responsive grids and next-gen image formats
- Solid understanding of debugging and issue resolution
- Solid understanding of designing intuitive site functionality, user interfaces, navigation etc
- Experience with Version Control and GIT
- Good knowledge of modern web standards and web performance
- Good knowledge of frontend framework like React
- Knowledge of WordPress CMS is a plus
Other desirable skills:
- Proven experience working with Frontend developers, Drupal developers, and the UX team
- Experience with PHP as a server-side language
- Familiarity with JIRA for project tracking and management
