Overview:

After establishing strong market presence and winning over 200 esteemed large enterprise customers globally, we are looking to hire core members who will form and build the Sales Engineering function at Borneo for APAC and EMEA regions. Role is India based, preferably Bengaluru, will involve travel both nationally and internationally.

Job Description:

  • Manage and own the POC process for strategic enterprise customers.
  • Develop and maintain the POC framework while helping to execute efficient evaluation cycles
  • Act as a trusted technical advisor to enterprise account directors while actively collaborating on pre and post-sales engagements
  • Build and leverage internal relationships with engineering, product, and founder to ensure a healthy product feedback loop from prospect to customer to Borneo team
  • Ensure technical documentation is up to par with common questions that arise during the sales cycle
  • Customize demo environments where needed by the industry and use case
  • Work with Borneo API where needed to create bespoke technical solutions for strategic customers
  • Organize, and prioritize multiple activities in a fast-paced sales environment
  • Maintain a strong sense of business ethics and professionalism when communicating both internally and externally

Must-Have Requirements:

  • Demonstrated success in supporting large, complex deals with Fortune 1000 customers in your region and within Target verticals (Financial Services, Healthcare/Pharma, Technology, Retail, etc). Existing executive and technical relationships within those accounts will be valuable.
  • Ability to communicate, and build relationships, with Technical Buyers but also technical users who will engage in POVs
  • Knowledge of what it takes to build strong, internal relationships with the sales team
  • Strong communicator and excellent organizational skills

Good-To-Have Requirements:

  • Experience building solutions engineering at a company scaling from 20 to 100+ employees
  • 5+ years of prior Named Account level technical sales experience within Cybersecurity, Cloud, or Data Infra
