System Administrator

Responsibilities:

• Deploy, Troubleshoot, and manage complex OpenStack environments.
• Maintain Uptime for OpenStack Infra, VMs, Licensing, applications, DB’s etc..
• Perform ongoing administration tasks, including user and quota management, instance provisioning, and network configuration.
• Deploy, and manage OpenStack infrastructure components including Nova, Neutron, Cinder, Glance, Keystone, and Horizon.
• Automate OpenStack deployments and configurations using tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
• Monitor system health, identify and troubleshoot issues, and implement proactive solutions.
• Automate routine tasks using scripting languages and configuration management tools.
• Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions for OpenStack.
• One who can handle the complex layer of application on OpenStack compute and VMs in a shared resources environment.
• Expertise in operations and maintenance of RHEL, CentOS, and Ubuntu environment.
• Experience of working with Oracle 11g /12c/19c RAC clusters DB.
• Database monitoring activities (Backup, Space alerts, snapshot refresh, and alert log).
• Experience in Oracle backup and recovery scenarios using RMAN.
